A R.E�SOLUTION OF' THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF GRAPEVINE, TEXAS AUTHORIZTNG THE
DRAF'I'ING OF AN ORDINANCE RELATING TO THE
ANNEXATION OF THE MEADOWMERE PARK AREA
� AS DESCRIBED HEREIN; AND PROVIDING AN
EFFECTIVE DATE

WHEREAS, the City Council authorized the instituta.on o
annexation procedures; and
WHEREAS , the City Council called, advertised, and held
publi.c hearings on the matter as required by Article 970A,
Municipal Ar�nexation Act.; and
WHEREAS, no public opposition was voiced regardinq the
annexation; ar�d
WHEREAS, the Grapevine City Council is of the opiniori that
the annexation of the subject property would be in the best
interest_ of the citizens of Grapevine.
NOW, THEREFORE, B� IT RE50LVED BY 'I'HE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF GRAPEVINE, TEXAS :
Section l . That the City Attorney is hereby directed and
authorized to draft an ordinance for the purpose of an.nexing the
�'" Meadowmere Park area described in Exhibit "A" , attached hereto
and made a part hereof.

Section 2 . That this resoluti.on shall take effect from an
after the date of its passage .
