A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF GRAPEVINE,
TEXAS ENDORSING AND SUPPORTING THE
REQUEST OF THE CITY OF NORTH RICHLAND
HILLS, TEXAS FOR A SOLUTION TO TRAFFIC
�k•h P1�OBLEMS IN NORTHEAST TARRANT COUNTY
� WHEREAS, residents of the City of Grapevine are affected
daily by a hazardous condition at the interchange located at Loop
820, State Highway 121 , State Highway 26, FM 1938 (Davis
Boulevard) and Highway 183 as they have cause to drive through
the area in order to reach jobs, shopping, businesses, and other
interests which are most readily accessible by using these
thoroughfares; ar.d
WHEREAS , the above-described intersection complex consti-
tutes one of the most serious and hazardous traffic bottlenecks
in Tarrant County; and
WHEREAS , there is an urgent need to better the existing
state of the roadways in this portion of Northeast Tarrant County
by improving entrance ramps, exit ramps, and u-turns; and
WHEREAS , these improvements are essential to the orderly and
safe flow of traffic in this portion of Northeast Tarrant County.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF GRAPEVINE, TEXAS :

�,� Section 1 . That the Grapevine City Council does hereby
wholeheartedly endorse and support the request of the City of
North Richland Hills, Texas for a prompt solution to the traffic
problems in Northeast Tarrant County as described above.
