A RESOLUTION REPEALING RESOLUTION
NO. 85-45 RELATIVE TO A PURCHASE OFFER
FOR CERTAIN PROPERTY; FINDING THAT A
PUBLIC NECESSITY AND NEED EXISTS FOR THE
CITY TO ACQUIRE A CERTAIN TRACT OF LAND,
DESCRIBED IN THE BODY OF THIS
� °� RESOLUTION, FOR STREET RIGHT-OF-WAY
PURPOSES; AUTHORIZING ANOTHER OFFER; AND
AUTHORIZING THE CITY ATTORNEY TO FILE
� � CONDEMNATION PROCEEDINGS
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF GRAPEVINE, TEXAS :
Section l . That Resolution No. 85-45 passed by the Grape-
vine City Council on the 3rd day of September, 1985 is hereby
repealed in its er.tirety.
Section 2 . That the City Council does hereby find that a
public necessity and need exists in the City in order for the
City to improve its street facilities on all of that lot, tract,
or parcel of land situated within the City limits of the City of
Grapevine, Tarrant County, Texas, and described in Exhibit "A" ,
attached hereto and made a part hereof, for right-of-way purposes
from the owner of the property, John J. Houlihan, et ux.
Section 3 . That the tract of land to be acquired is for the
purpose of constructing and maintaining a roadway on the property

described in Exhibit "A" .
Section 4 . That the City Manager is instructed to offer the
� , owner the sum of $4 , 101 . 85 as cost consideration for the street
right-of-way. In the event the owner rejects the offer, the City
Attorney is directed to file a condemnation suit in Tarrant
County in order to permit the City to obtain the tract of land
pursuant to its power of eminent domain.

GRAPEVINE , TEXAS on this the 17th day of September, 1985 .

1688 and being part of a Rarcel of land deeded to JOHN J. HOULIHAN et ux
anc� recorded in Vol . 5665, Page 53 of the deed records of Tarrant
County, Texas. Said Area Being described as follows:
BE6INNING: at a 1" iron pipe in the proposed north right-of-way line of
DOVE ROAD and the most western line of the above described tract.
THENCE: S 56° -21' -48" E, 80.30 feet to the point of beginning of the
tract to be described, which lies on the north right-of-way of DOVE
ROAD.
TNENCE: S 56° -21' -48" E, 112.7 feet to a point inside the proposed
right-of-way of DOVE ROAD.
THENCE: N 28° -48' -29" E, 17.55 feet to a point that lies on an arc
having a radius of 720 feet, which describes the north right-of-way of
DOVE ROr1D.
THENCE: Northwest 112.7038 feet along the curve of the proposed
right-of-way of DOVE ROAD to the point of beginning and containing

820.37 square feet of land, more or less.
