A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF GRAPEVINE, TEXAS , DECLARING
CERTAIN PROPERTY SURPLUS AND AUTHORIZING
THE CITY STAFF TO ADVERTISE FOR BIDS FOR
� SALE OF SAID PROPERTY
,� WHEREAS, the City of Grapevine owns two tracts of land, both
of which are former water well sites, one being located in the
Shore View Estates Addition and one in the Canterbury Village
Addition in the City of Grapevine, Texas; and
WHEREAS, these two wells have not been in operation for more
than four years and it has been determined that they will not be
utilized for water production in the future.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF GRAPEVINE, TEXAS :
Section 1 . That Lot 6, Block 2 of the Shore View Estates
Addition and Lot 9, Block 1 of the Canterbury Village Addition,
more fully and completely described in Exhibits "A" and "B"
attached hereto and made a part hereof, are hereby declared to be
surplus property.
' Section 2. That the City Manager of the City of Grapevine,
or his designated representative, is hereby authorized to adver-
�� tise for the sale of said property.
Section 3 . That this resolution shall become effective from
and after the date of its passage.
PASSED AND APPROVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
GRAPEVINE, TEXAS on this the 5th day of November, 1985.
