Tate Mayor Thelma Conine Councilwoman Doil Dalton Councilman Bob Murphy Councilman C. L. Oliver Councilman Willis Pirkle Councilman Charles Dunn Councilman constituting a quorum, with Floy Ezell City Manager Jim Hancock Assistant City Manager Kenneth Pritt, Jr. City Secretary with John Boyle, City Attorney, absent. Mayor Tate called the meeting to order. The Invocation was given by Councilman Dalton The first order of business was for the City Council to consider a claim made by the County concerning the Man- power Program. The City Manager gave a brief history and ,,: stated that he had an invoice from the county in the amount of $19, 375. 70 for labor rendered by persons work- ing in the City' s Park and Recreation Department. Council- man Dunn made a motion to approve the payment to the Tarrant County Manpawer Program in the amount of $19, 375.70. Council- man Oliver seconded the motion and the motion prevailed by the following vote: Ayes : Tate, Conine, Murphy, Oliver, Dalton, Pirkle, & Dunn Noes : None There being no further business, Councilman Oliver made a " motion to adjourn the meeting.
