HomeMy WebLinkAboutRES 1984-028 CITY OF GRAPEVINE, TEXAS RESOLUTION NO. 8�-28 A RESOLUTION AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 84-25, THE 'Tl/OLUNTARY MORATORIUM RESOLUTION," AND AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 84-26 RELATNE TO THE INSTITUTION OF NEW ZONING CASES, BY LIFTING THE MORATORIUM AND PROVIDING FOR THE IMMEDIATE REZONING OF CERTAIN PROPERTY DESCRIBED IN EXHIBIT "A," ATTACHED HERETO , AND MADE A PART HEREOF; PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTNE DATE UPON PASSAGE AND APPROVAL WHEREAS, the City Council passed Resolution No. 84-25 on the 3rd day of May, 1984, which Resolution (the 'TVoluntary Moratorium Resolution") imposed a Voluntary Moratorium on the issuance of Building Permits for a forty-five (45) day period from May 4, 1984 through June 18, 1984 on certain described property conditioned upon the City's agreement to institute a new zoning case or cases relative to said property within ten (10) days of May 3, 1984; and WHEREAS, the City Council passed R.esolution No. 54-26 on the 8th day of May, 1984, which Resolution authorized the institution of the new zoning case or cases in accordance with the aforedescribed VolLlntary Moratorium Resolution; and WHEREAS, Mr. James Mason, owner of a certain tract of land subject to the above described Resolutions, has requested that a part of said tract of land, known as Tract 22B and as described in Exhibit "A" attached hereto and made a part hereof for all purposes, be lifted from the Voluntary Moratorium for the purpose of immediately rezoning said property. NO�V, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLUED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GRAPEVINE, TEXAS: Section l. That all matters stated in the abov� and foregoing preamble are incorporated herein and made a part hereof as if copied herein in their entirety. Section 2. That Resolution No. 84-25 relating to a Voluntary Moratorium and Resolution No. 84-26 relating to the institution of new zoning cases are hereby amended by lifting the Voluntary Moratori�m and stopping the new zoning case instituted with respect to a tract of land lying within the corporate limits of the City of Grapevine known as Tract 22B and owned by Mr. James Mason, said Tract being described in Exhibit "A" attached hereto and incorporated herein for all purposes, for the purpose of immediately rezoning said tract of land. Section 3. That this Resolution shall take effect from and after the date of its passage. PASSED this the 15th day of May, 1984.
