A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF GRAPEVINE, TEXAS, ACCEPTING A GRANT OF
$1,543. 80 FROM THE THOMAS-EDWARDS FUND OF THE
� ° COMMUNITIES FOUNDATION OF TEXAS, INC.
DESIGNATED FOR THE CHILDREN'S AREA OF THE
GRAPEVINE PUBLIC LIBRARY

WHEREAS, the Communities Foundation of Texas, Inc. , from the
Thomas-Edwards fund, has granted to the City certain funds desig-
nated for use in the Children' s Area of the City of Grapevine
Public Library; and
WHEREAS , the City Council desires to accept this grant for
use in the Children' s Area of the Public Library.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF GRAPEVINE, TEXAS:
Section 1 . That all of the matters contained in the
preamble are found to be true and correct and are incorporated
herein as if copied in their entirety.
Section 2. That the City Council does hereby accept from
the Thomas-Edwards Fund of the Communities Foundation of Texas,
Inc. a grant in the amount of $1 ,543 .80 to be used for items in

the Children' s Area of the City of Grapevine Public Library.
Section 3 . That this resolution shall take effect from and
after it' s passage.
PASSED AND APPROVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
GRAPEVINE, TEXAS on this the 6th day of November, 1984 .
