City Council to recess to the Conference Room I� to hold a closed executive session to discuss a personnel matter about the evaluation of a specific employee persuant to Article 6252-17, Section 2(g) , Texas Civil Statutes. B. City Council to return to the Council Chambers; Council may or may not take action on the above item; City Council will also consider any further business. V. NEW BUSINESS VI . ADJOURNMENT This emergency agenda has been prepared because immediate action is necessary to insure the health, safety, and general welfare of the citizens of Grapevine, Texas. IN ACCORDANCE WITH ARTICLE 6252-17, V.A.T.C.S. , AS AMENDED BY CHAPTER 227, ACTS OF THE 61ST LEGISLATURE, REGULAR SESSION, 1969, THE EMERGENCY CITY COUNCIL AGENDA WAS PREPARED AND POSTED ON THIS THE 24TH DAY OF MARCH, 1976 AT 9:00 A.M. �' � ��1 �./ `, AC ING CITY SECRE Y � � � � Z�4 STATE OF TEXAS X COUNTY OF TARRANT X CITY OF GRAPEVINE X The City Council of the City of Grapevine, Texas convened in emergency session at 8:00 P. M. on this the 24th day of March, 1976 with the following members present to-wit: William D. Tate Mayor Doil Dalton Councilman Thelma Conine Councilwoman Willis Pirkle Councilman Bob Murphy Councilman Charles Dunn Councilman Larry Oliver Councilman constiting a quorum, with Floy Ezell City Manager Jim Hancock Assistant City Manager Kenneth R. Pritt, Jr. Acting City Secretary John Boyle City Attorney Mayor Tate called the meeting to order at 8:10 P.M. � The Invocation was given by Councilman Dunn. Councilman Dalton stated that he felt the members of the City Council should send flowers to employees that have experienced a death in their family. The general consensus of the Council was to have flowers sent to the funerals and for Councilman Dalton to collect payment from the members. Mayor Tate then announced that the City Council would go into an executive closed session to discuss a personnel matter about the evaluation of a specific employee persuant to Article 6252-17, Section 2 (g) , Texas Civil Statutes. The City Council recessed to the Conference Room at 8:15 P.M. The City Council reconvened in the Council Chambers at 10:55 P.M. with all members present. There being no further business, Councilman Pirkle made a motion to adjourn the � meeting. The motion was seconded by Councilman Oliver and prevailed by the following vote: Ayes: Tate, Conine, Murphy, Oliver, Dalton, Pirkle, and Dunn Nays: None The meeting was adjourned at 10: 56 P.M.
