A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF GRAPEVINE, TEXAS, AMENDING
RESOLUTION N0. 84-08 RELATIVE TO THE
ESTABLISHMENT OF A MAIN STREET COMMITTEE
BY AMENDING SECTION 3D RELATIVE TO THE
MEETING DATE OF THE COMMITTEE; AND
,�,::"� PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE
WHEREAS , the members of the Main Street Committee (the
"Committee") have requested the City Council of the City of
`� Grapevine to authorize a change in the designated meeting date of
the Committee; and
WHEREAS, a change in the designated meeting date would be
more convenient for a large number of the Committee members,
thereby enabling better attendance at Committee meetings; and
WHEREAS , the City Council finds and determines that a change
in the meeting date of the Main Street Committee would aid in the
accomplishment of the various purposes of the Committee.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF GRAPEVINE, TEXAS :
Section l . That all of the matters stated in the preamble
are found to be true and correct and are incorporated into this
Resolution as if copied in their entirety.
Section 2 . That Section 3D of Resolution No. 84-08 is
hereby amended to read as follows :
"D. The Committee shall meet at least once monthly on the
"'�" second Tuesday of each month. The Chairman may,
however, call special meetings as necessary. "
Section 3 . That this Resolution shall be effective from and
after the date of its passage.
PASSED AND APPROVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
GRAPEVINE, TEXAS on this the 4th day of June, 1985.
