A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF GRAPEVINE, TEXAS, AMENDING RESOLUTION
NO. 83-34 PROVIDING FOR A TEMPORARY
MORATORIUM ON REZONINGS, PLANNED DEVELOPMENT
PERMITS, SPECIFIC USE PERMITS AND BUILDING
PERMITS IN THE CITY OF GRAPEVINE, TEXAS

� WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Grapevine, Texas ,
finds as follows:
l. On September 6 , 1983 , the City of Grapevine
adopted Resolution No. 83-34 providing for a temporary
moratorium on certain rezonings, planned development
permits, specific use permits, and building permits
described and identified more fully therein.
2. Exhibit A attached to Resolution No. 83-34 ,
which identified graphically the geographic areas
affected by the moratorium, did not include certain
parcels of land, described in Exhibit A-1 to this
Resolution, on which the present zoning classification
is or may be inconsistent with the 1980 Update
Comprehensive Master Plan of the City of Grapevine.
3. Resolution No. 83-34 also requires
clarification of the effect of the moratorium on
properties located within the moratorium area as
defined in that Resolution, but which are, during the
term of the moratorium, reclassified so as to bring the
zoning classification into conformity with the 1980
Update Comprehensive Master Plan.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF GRAPEVINE, TEXAS:
Section 1 . All of the matters contained in the preamble are
found by the City Council to be true and correct and are incorpo-
rated herein as if copied in their entirety.
Section 2. Section 4 (b) of Resolution No. 83-34 , passed and
approved on September 6 , 1983 , be, and it is amended by adding to
the properties shown on Exhibit A thereto, to which reference is
made in Section 4 (b) , the additional parcels described in Exhibit
A-1 to this Resolution.
Section 3 . Section 5 of the Resolution No. 83-34 , passed
and approved on September 6 , 1983 , be, and it is hereby amended
by adding a new subparagraph (c) to Section 5 , the said subpara-
graph (c) to be and read as follows:
(c) In the event that a parcel of land
included in the moratorium area by
virtue of Section 4 (b) hereof is
°""�" rezoned pursuant to Zoning Ordinance
No. 82-73 of the City of Grapevine
' so as to make the zoning classifi-
i� cation of such parcel consistent
with the 1980 Update Comprehensive
Master Plan of the City of
Grapevine, then the moratorium
imposed by this Resolution shall be
of no further force and effect with
respect to such property.
Section 4 . This Resolution shall become effective from the
date of its passage.
PASSED AND APPROVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
GRAPEVINE, TEXAS on this the 20th day of September, 1983.
