A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE CITY
STAFF TO TAKE ALL NECESSARY ACTIONS, INLCUDING THE
REQUIRED PUBLICATION OF NOTICE, TO CALL A JOINT
PUBLIC HEARING OF THE PLANNING AND ZONING COM-
MISSION AND THE CITY COUNCIL FOR 7:30 P.M. JANUARY 17,
��, 1984 AT THE GRAPEVINE CITY HALL FOR THE PURPOSE OF
CONSIDERING PROPOSED AMENDMENTS TO THE CITY'S COM-
PREHENSNE ZONING ORDINANCE, NUMBER 82-73
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GRAPE-
VINE, TEXAS:
Section 1. That the City Staff is hereby authorized and directed to take
all necessary actions, including the required publication of notice to call a joint
public hearing of the Planning and Zoning Commission and the City Council for
January 17, 1984 at the Grapevine City Hall for the purpose of considering the
proposed amendments to the City's Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance No. 82-73
passed on the 2nd day of November, 1982 which changes include, but are not
limited to the following changes which are generally described as follows:
A. Addition of new Zoning Districts as follows:
1) LB - Limited Business District
2) HC - Highway Commercial District
3) CBD - Central Business District
4) HCO - Hotel and Corporate Office District
5) M6 - General Industrial District
6) PDR-6 - Planned Residential - Low Density
7) PDR-12 - Planned Residential - Medium Density
� 8) PCD - Planned Commercial Development
9) PID - Planned Industrial District

10) GU - Governmental Use District
11) D/FW Airport District
12) FP - Flood Plain District
B. Consider the deletion or amendment to certain zoning districts.
C. Addition of a section relating to the procedure for the estab-
lishment of vested rights.
D. Additions and amendments relating to the Site Plan District, the
Planned Unit Development District and to Site Plan requirements in general.
Section 2. The City Secretary is directed to publish a description of all
proposed amendments in a newspaper of general circulation published in Tarrant
County and circulated within the City limits of the City of Grapevine, all in
accordance with State Law one (1) time at least fifteen days prior to the
January 17, 1984 Public Hearing.
Section 3. All interested parties are advised that a complete text of
the proposed amendments may be obtained at the Grapevine City Hall, City
Seeretary's office.
