RESOLUTION NO. 84-04
A RESOLUTION INSTRUCTING AND DIRECTING THE CITY
STAFF TO TAKE ALL NECESSARY LEGAL STEPS TO CALL A
JOINT PUBLIC HEARING OF THE PLANNING AND ZONING
COMMISSION AND THE CITY COUNCIL FOR THE PURPOSE OF
CONSIDERING THE ADOPTION OF A NEW ZONING DISTRICT
' MAP FOR THE ENTIRE CITY IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE
CITY'S ZONING ORDINANCE NO. 82-73 AND THE 1980 MASTER

BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
GRAPEVINE, TEXAS:
Section l. That the City Staff is hereby instructed and directed to take
all necessary legal steps in compliance with Tex. Rev. Civ. Stat. Ann. art.
1011a-1011e to call a Joint Public Hearing of the Planning and Zoning
Commission and the City Council for the purpose of considering the adoption of
a new Zoning District Map for the entire City in accordance with the City's
Zoning Ordinance No. 82-73 and the 1980 Master Land Use Plan.
Section 2. The City Staff is directed to advertise for and give notice
of the Joint Public Hearing in as expeditious manner as is legally possible,
generally in accordance with the map prepared by the City's Planning Consultant
W. Anthony Wiles and to select a time ana location for the public meeting at
a public place that is the most reasonable to accomodate the citizens. It is
anticipated that the Public Hearing will extend over a period of days due to the
fact that all parcels in the City will be considered.
Section 3. That this resolution shall take effect from and after its
passage.
