A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF GRAPEVINE, TEXAS ENDORSING AND
SUPPORTING THE BEAUTIFY GRAPEVINE

WHEREAS , the citizens of Grapevine, Texas are proud of their
City and wish to make the people who visit Grapevine aware of
that pride; and
WHEREAS, to care for and beautify our surroundings is
rewarding to each of us; and
WHEREAS, the month of April, 1984 has been declared to be
Beautify Grapevine Month; and
WHEREAS, the Grapevine Chamber of Commerce Historical
Affairs and Beautification Committee has initiated several worth-
while projects to clean up and beautify our City; and
WHEREAS , the Grapevine City Council wishes to encourage
citizen awareness of their responsibility to improve their
surroundings and participate in the beautification of our City.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF GRAPEVINE, TEXAS:
Section 1 . That the efforts made by the Grapevine Chamber
of Commerce, other local community organizations, and the citi-
� � zens of the City of Grapevine to clean up and beautify our City
are to be commended.
�� Section 2. That the City Council of the City of Grapevine,
Texas does hereby endorse and support the projects initiated to
clean up and beautify our City and encourage participation by all
citizens to improve the appearance of their surroundings.
PASSED AND APPROVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
GRAPEVINE, TEXAS on this 27th day of March, 1984.
