RESOLUTION NO. 84-27
A RESOLUTION AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 84-25, "THE
VOLUNTA�,Y MORATORIUM RESOLUTION" BY IMPOSING A ONE
HUNDRED TWENTY (120) DAY MORATORIUM ON THE
ISSUANCE OF BUILDING PERMITS IN CERTAIN DEFINED AREAS

WHEREAS, by the passage of Resolution No. 84-25, the City imposed a
Voluntary Moratorium Resolution on certain property for a forty-five (45) day
period commencing May 4, 1984; and
�vHEREAS, an owner of one (1) or more of the parcels has requested that
the Moratorium on his property be extended from forty-five (45) days to one
hundred twenty (120) days and the City is agreeable to abiding by said reqtiest.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF GRAPEVINE:
Section 1. That Resolution No. 84-25 is hereby amended as to property
owned by Joe Wright, and as to no other property described
in the attached letter, and a PJioratorium is hereby imposed
on the issuance of any Building Permits for said property for
a period of one hundred twenty (120) days from May 4, 1984
through September l, 1984. Durin� said �eriod of time City
Officials shall issue no Building Permits for all or any
portion of the property.
Section 2. The City agrees to institute a new zoning case on said

parcels within eighty (80) days of May 4, 1984.
Section 3. That this resolution shall take effect from and after its

Dear Mayor Tate, City Council Members, and City Manager Jim Hancock:
The undersigned (hereinafter referred to as "Owner") is the awner of the above-
described parcel(s) located within the City limits of the City of Grapevine,
Texa.s.
Subject pa.rcel(s) is being considered for rezoning by the City Council after
receipt of a recc�arendation fran the Planning & Zoning Canmi.ssion, pursuant to
and in accordance with the City of Grapevine's Co�rehensive Zoning Ordinance
No. 82-73, and Tex. Rev. Civ. Stat. Ann. Art. 1011a-1011e.
The descri.bed parcel(s) is subject to a moratorium relative to the issuance of
� building permits instituted by the passage of Resolution No. 83-34 passed on
� September 6, 1983. The moratorium was extended through May 3, 1984 by the pass-
r' age of Resolutions No. 84-03 and 84-11.
Owner requested the City to readvertise the zoning case and send out the statu-
tory notice to allaw consideration of additional and less-restrictive zoning
district categories for subject parcel(s) . It is estimated that it will take
approximately 45 days to process such a zoning case.
'I`he owner hereby irrevocably consents and authorizes the City to impose and/or
extend a moratorium on the issuance of any building permits for the above
described parcel(s) conditioned upon the City instituting a new zoning case
within 80 days of May 3, 1984 for a period of 120 days running fran May 4, 1984
through SeptP.mUer 1, 1984.
The agreed. mpratoritun will expire aut�tically, ipso facto, at the end of the
120 day period unless extended by mutual agreement of the City and the under-
signed.
This is an amend�rent to the letter submitted on May 3, 1984.
