A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF GRAPEVINE, TEXAS , RECOG-
NIZING THE NEED FOR A COOPERATIVE
CLEAN UP EFFORT; ENCOURAGING AND
ENDORSING THE SACK TRASH AND RECYCLE
�,, PROGRAM; DECLARING APRIL "CLEAN UP
& BEAUTIFY GRAPEVINE MONTH" ; AND PRO-
VIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE

WHEREAS, the citizens of Grapevine, Texas are proud of
our City and wish to make our many visitors aware of that
pride; and
WHEREAS, to care for and beautify our surroundings is
rewarding to each of us; and
WHEREAS, litter of all types carelessly strewn on
streets and open areas is an eyesore and is costly to tax-
payers.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF GRAPEVINE, TEXAS:
Section 1 . That the City Council of the City of Grape-
vine recognizes the need for a cooperative clean up program
and herewith endorses and encourages participation in the
Sack Trash & Recycle effort.

Section 2 . That the month of April is herewith de-
clared "Clean Up & Beautify Grapevine Month" .
Section 3. That this resolution shall become effec-
tive immediately upon its passage.
