A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF GRAPEVINE, TEXAS , AUTHORIZING THE CITY OF
GRAPEVINE TO ENTER INTO A CONTRACT �aITH THE
� U. S. ARMY CORPS OF ENGINEERS FOR LAW ENFORCE-
MENT WITHIN THE CITY LII�ZITS OF GRAPEVINE BY
US� OF OFF-DUTY POLICE OFFICERS

�aHEREAS, urban areas across the nation are experiencing
increasing demands for police services; and
WHEREAS, the City of Grapevine, Texas is also experiencing
this nation-wide trend; and
WHEREAS, the City of Grapevine has within its City limits a
Corps of Engineers lake; and
WHEREAS, the U. S. Army Corps of Engineers will provide monies
under contract for use of officers of the City of Grapevine on an
overtime basis.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF GRAPEVINE , TEXAS:
Section 1 . That the City of Grapevine Police Department is
authorized to enter into a contract with the U. S. Army Corps of
_ , Engineers for overtime work.
Section 2 . That the City of Grapevine understands that the
�»- U. S. Army Corps of Engineers , under its guidelines , will provide
100% of the required funding for the project up to $20 ,136 .
