A RESOLUTION DECLARING THE RESULTS OF
THE 1983 CITY OFFICERS ' RUN-OFF ELECTION

WHEREAS, there came to be considered the r�turns of an
election held on the 16th day of April , 1983 , for the pur-
�� pose of electing the hereinafter named official , and, it
appearing from said returns duly and l�gally made , that there
were cast at said election 1 ,092 valid and legal votes; that
each of the candidates in said election received the following
votes:
COUNCIL, PLACE 3
Jim Glynn . . . . . . . . . . 557
Mack Jameson . . . . . . . . 535
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF GRAPEVINE, TEXAS :
Section 1 . That said election was duly called; that
notice of said election was given in accordance with law;
that said election was held in accordance with law; and that
the following named person was duly elected to the office
indicated :

Section 2 . That the said above person is hereby de-
clared duly elected to said respective office , subj�ct to the
taking of his oath and filing bond as provided by the laws of
this State and the ordinances of this City.
