A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF GRAPEVINE, TEXAS AUTHORIZING THE
DRAFTING OF AN ORDINANCE RELATING TO THE
ANNEXATION OF ONE TRACT OF LAND DESCRIBED
HEREIN
[�HEREAS, a petition r2questing the annexation of a certain
tract of land was submitted; and
jaHEREAS , the City Council authorized the institution of
annexation procedures ; and
WHEREAS, the City Council called, advertised, and held
public hearings on the matter as required by Article 970A,
Municipal Annexation Act� and
WHEREAS, no public opposition was voiced regarding the
annexation; and
WHEREAS, the Grapevine City Council is of the opinion
that the annexation of the petitioned property would be in
the best interest of the citizens of Grapevine.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF GRAPEVINE, TEXAS :
Section 1 . That the City Attorney is hereby directed
�=u and authorized to draft an ordinance for the purpose of
annexing the tract of land described in Exhibit A, attached

hereto and made a part hereof.
Section 2 . That this resolution shall take effect from
and after its passage.
PASSED AND APPROVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
GRAPEVINE, TEXAS on this the 17th day of May, 1983 .

vey, Abstract No. 898 , situated in Tarrant County , Texas and
being a portion of that certain tract of land as described
in deed to Stone Company, Inc. as r�corded in Volume 6756 ,
Pag� 2340 of the Deed Records of Tarrant County, Texas and

BEGINNING at a 5/8'� iron pin found at the Southeast corner
of Lot 16 , Block 1 of High Country, Phase I, an addition to
the City of Grap�vine as recorded in Volume 388-154 , Page 99
of the Plat R�cords of. Tarrant County, Texas;
