A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF GRAPEVINE,
TEXAS , RELATIVE TO A RAT� INCREASE RE-
QUEST FILED BY LONE STAR GAS CODIPANY;
SUSPENDING THE OPERATION OF THE
SCHEDULE OF RATES FOR 120 DAYS; CALLING
A PUBLIC HEARING; AND DIRECTING THAT A
CERTIFIED COPY OF THIS RESOLUTION BE

' FOR LONE STAR GAS COMPANY

WHEREAS, Lone Star Gas Company has filed a request
with the City of Grapevine , Texas , requesting an increase
in its rates , which was filed on June 15 , 1983 and is
proposed to go into effect on the 21st day of July, 1983;
and
WHEREAS, the City Council desires to suspend the
operation of the schedule that the rates would go into
effect in order to study the request in accordance with
Tex. Rev. Civ. Stat. Ann. , Art. 1446c.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF GRAPEVINE, TEXAS :
Section 1 . That the City Council does hereby suspend
the operation of the schedul� for a period of 120 days
beyond the date on which the schedule of rates was pr�-
posed to go into effect in accordance with Tex. Rev. Civ.
��
Stat. Ann. , Art. 1446c.
Section 2 . That a public hearing is hereby called
,�, for the 2nd day of August 1983 , in the City Council Chambers ,
for the purpose of determining the propriety of such pro-
posed changes .
Section 3. That the City Secretary is directed to send
a certified copy of this resolution to Mr. Vernie Henderson,
District Manager for Lone Star Gas Company.

GRAPEVINE, TEXAS on this the 21st day of June , 1983 .
