RESOLUTION NO. 83_32
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY STAFF TO NEGOTIATE
WITH AMBER PIPELINE COMPANY FOR THE ABANDONMENT
OF A PIPELINE EASEMENT LOCATED IN TIMBERLINE DRIVE
AND THE RELOCATION OF A LINE LOCATED IN SAID EASE-
MENT FOR AN AMOUNT THAT IS REASONABLE AND IN LINE
� WITH MARKET PRICES, NOT TO EXCEED $18,964.50

• WHEREAS, it has been determined and found that Amber Pipeline

Company is the holder and owner of a pipeline easement located within the
confines of the Timberline Drive right-of-way, that a high pressure pipeline is
' " located within said easement, that the said easement was acquired prior to
Timberline Drive right-of-way being acquired and that it is necessary to relocate
said pipeline in order to carry out the current Timberline Drive improvement and
paving project; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has deemed it necessary to negotiate with
the owners and holders of said easement and pipeline to abandon the easement
and relocate the line.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF GRAPEVINE:
Section 1. That all of the matters stated in the preamble are found to
be true and correct and are incorporated into the body of this resolution as if
copied in their entirety.
Section 2. That the City Staff is hereby authorized and directed to
negotiate with Amber Pipeline Company for abandonment and relocation of said
�. H pipeline easement and line located within the Timberline Drive Project all as
- noted on the engineering plans for the Timberline Drive Paving Project on file
� in the Director of Public Works office for a reasonable amount not to exceed
$18,964.50.
