The Tnvocation was given by �c►uncilman Hilg. � x The first item of business was �o consider Ordinanc� No. 7�-�7, an ordinance prohibiting the moving of a�y Ybouse� buildi.ng or structure from one location � within or without the City of Qrapevin� to a location within the City of � Grapevine. The City S�cretary read the �aption. The City Man�ger stated f that there sh�uld be a ninety dollar ($90.00) application fee to help pay for t the cost of publication and notices for the public hearing. There was no � � diaeussion and Councilman Eidson made a mption to apprnve the ordinance as �: re�d on an emergency basis and include $90.00 as the fee for th� application � thereof. The City Manag�r pr�sented the coiancil w3.th pnblished information � shcrwing figures and pro�ec�ion of the budget. 2'here was a lengtl�y discussion � on several items that will be more detailed in following minutes, A�ong � � sc>me of the items diseussed wa,s the �ur-charg� on se�rer; it was pro�ected that this charge �uld be a maximum of four dollars and ninety eents (�+.90) and a will be calculated on the number of ga]lons of water used. T`he income sheet � on water wag d.iscussed with one of the main points bei�g tha,t bond isswe� will "� � 'l�ave to be held in ord�r to have ar�y major extentions of a�y lines. The � Util.ity F'uizd w'as discussed. The ma3or expenditure being sal.axies; it was � propos�d tha,t four additional men be hired to help with the maintenance of � our new lii"� stations. It was ata�ed that a 14�o increase be giv�en to all � eraployeea during th� �cvan3.ng �'iscal period. It was pro�ected �hat there would � be a deerease in the tax rate for the oncoming fiscal year. There was a general � presentation and diseussion of the expenditures. Th� Mayor stated that he � felt �he City Manager had presented a well proposed budget and that the City � MaJ.lager could now take steps �o prepare the budget for a public hearing. � : � There being no f�a,rGher business, Cc»uncilman Eidson made a motion to ad�ourn the meeting. Councilman Murpl�y seconded the motion and all present ,�noted 'aye, adjourning the meeting at 9=�+0 P,M.
