A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY
MANAGER AND ANY DESIGNATED REPRESEN-
TATIVES , IN CONJUNCTION WITH THE
GRAPEVINE MUNICIPAL GOLF COURSE
PERSONNEL TO CONDUCT A PRO-AM GOLF
TOURNAMENT TO BE HELD ON THE 8TH
DAY OF JUNE, 1981; AND PROVIDING
�,,, THE NECESSARY PROCEDURES
� NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF GRAPEVINE, TEXAS :
SECTION l. The City Manager in conjunction with City
Golf Course personnel is hereby authorized to conduct the
Pro-Am Golf Tournament to be held on the 8th day of June ,
1981 at the City ' s Golf Course.
SECTION 2. Entry fee for the tournament is hereby
established at $100 per entry for open entrants . The City
Finance Director is directed to accept and place all entry
fees received in a special account titled "Pro-Am Golf
Tournament Fund" which funds are to be used to pay all
necessary and incidental expenses incurred in connection
with the golf tournament, including any awards that may
be needed, the balance of the fund after the payment of
expenses, if any, are to be held as a special fund for
charitable purposes for the benefit of the general public
to be dispensed in accordance with subsequent rules and
criteria established by the City Council. All entrants,
participants , and contributors shall be furnished a copy
of this resolution, and by entering the tournament agree
�*, to the terms of this resolution.
� SECTION 3. All rules and regulations relative to
the tournament are to be established by the City Manager,
or his designated representatives in conjunction with golf
course personnel.

SECTION 4. The City, nor any of its agents, servants ,
employees or representatives shall make any representations
relative to the tournament except those contained in this
resolution.
PASSED AND APPROVED on this the 3rd day of February,
1981.
