A RESOLUTION DECLARING THE RESULTS OF THE
1981 CITY OFFICER' S ELECTION AND CALLING
A RUN-OFF ELECTION
`�� WHEREAS, there came to be considered the returns of
an election held on the 4th day of April, 1981, for the
� purpose of electing the hereinafter named officials, and it
appearing from said returns, duly and legally made that there
were cast at said election 698 valid and legal votes ; that
each of the candidates in said election received the follow-
ing votes :

�; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF GRAPEVINE, TEXAS:

That said election was duly called ; that notice of said
election was given in accordance with law; and that said
election was held in accordance with law, and that the
following named persons were duly elected to the office
indicated:
Ted Ware . . . . . . . . . . . . . . Council Place 5
That the said above persons are hereby declared duly elected
to said respective off ice, subject ta the taking of their
oath and filing bond as provided by the laws of this State
and the ordinances of this City, and that in Council, Place
Six, no candidate received a majority of the total votes cast.
A run-off election between the two candidates receiving the
most votes shall be held between fourteen to twenty-eight
days from the date of the regular election. Date of said
election shall be April 1981, and the place of voting

shall be Grapevine Middle School, 730 East Worth Street,
Grapevine, Texas .
