A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY OF
GRAPEVINE, TEXAS TO SUBMIT A GRANT
APPLICATION TO THE TEXAS CRIMINAL
JUSTICE COUNCIL FOR CONTINUED FUND-
ING FOR THE YOUTH SERVICES DIVISION
WHEREAS, the Grapevine Police Department is presently
active in the Youth Services Division Grant Program; and
WHEREAS, it is the opinion of the City Council that
the best interests of the citizens of the City of Grape-
vine will be served by continued participation in this
program; and
WHEREAS , the Texas Criminal Justice Council will pro-
vide the continuation funding for this program;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF GRAPEVINE, TEXAS, THAT:
Section 1. The City of Grapevine Police Department
is authorized to request funding from the Texas Criminal
Justice Council for continued funding for the Youth Ser-
vices Division.
Section 2. The City of Grapevine understands that,
if approved, the Texas Criminal Justice Council will pro-
vide 20� funding and the City of Grapevine will provide
80� funding for this fifth year of the program.
