A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY OF
GRAPEVINE TO APPLY FOR A GRANT FROM
THE TEXAS CRIMINAL JUSTICE DIVISION
� WHEREAS ,urban areas across the Nation are experiencing
a dramatic increase in Juvenile related crime; and
� WHEREAS , the City of Grapevine, Texas is also experiencing
this Nationwide trend; and
WHEREAS , the Texas Criminal Justice Division will
provide funding for approved Juvenile Crime Specialist
Proj ect;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF GRAPEVINE , TEXAS :
Section 1. That the City of Grapevine Police Department
is authorized to request funding from the Texas Criminal
Justice Division for a Juvenile Crime Specialist Project.
Section 2. That the City of Grapevine understands
that the Criminal Justice Division will provide 40% funding
for the project; if approved.
