A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF GRAPE-
VINE , TEXAS APPOINTING COUNSEL AND PROVIDING
FUNDING FOR DEFENSE OF A CERTAIN LAWSUIT
ENTITLED "CITY OF ARLINGTON V. MADRIN HUFFMAN,
et al. "
WHEREAS , the City Council of Grapevine , Texas desires to
�`"" provide for defense of a certain lawsuit entitled "City of
Arlington v. Madrin Huffman, et al , No. 153-57996-79" , in
cooperation with other taxing entities in Tarrant County; and,

WHEREAS , the 1970 population of the City of Grapevine was
7 ,377 and it is agreeable to the said City Council that the
expense of litigation be borne proportionately to population
of all cities being represented by said attorneys in such matter;
NOW, THEREFORE , BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF GR.APEVINE , TEXAS :
Section 1. That the City of Grapevine , Texas , hereby
employs Henry Kerry, Rex McEntire , and George Staples , Jr. , to
provide legal representation in defense of that suit numbered
153-57996-79 in the 153rd Judicial District Court of Tarrant
County, Texas , styled City of Arlington v. Madrin Huffman, et al .
Section 2 . That the City of Grapevine, Texas , hereby
agrees to pay its proportionate share of attorney' s fees and other
litigation expense based on 1970 populations of cities employing
said attorney for said defense. However , said share shall not
exceed 12 cents per capita.
