A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF GRAPEVINE, TEXAS REJECTING THE BID
RECEIVED RELATIVE TO EQUIPMENT FOR THE CON-
COURSE CENTER; AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER
TO AWARD THE BID ON A NEGOTIATED BASIS AND

PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the City Staff did in fact advertise the bids
for furniture, china and flatware for use in the Concourse
Center;
WHEREAS , only one bid was received from Watson Food
Service Industries , Inc. ;
WHEREAS , the bid has been closely analyzed by the Office
of the City Manager;
WHEREAS , it is of the utmost importance to act at once to
expedite the completion of the Concourse and make it available
for use;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF GRAPEVINE, TEXAS :
Section 1. That the bid submitted by Watson Food Service
Industries , Inc. in the amount of $24, 666 is hereby rejected.
Section 2. That this resolution is effective immediately
upon its passage.
PASSED AND APPROVED by the City Council of the City of Grapevine,
Texas on this the 19th day of February, 1980.
