WHEREAS , Lone Star Gas Company has filed a request
with the City of Grapevine, requesting an increase in
its rates which was filed on November 19 , 1980 and is
proposed to go into effect on the 26th day of December,
1980;
WHEREAS , the City Council desires to suspend the oper-
ation of the schedule that the rates would go into effect
� in order to study the request in accordance with Tex. Rev.
Civ. Stat. Ann. , Art. 1446c.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF GRAPEVINE, TEXAS :
Section l. The City Council does hereby suspend the
operation of the schedule for a period of 120 days beyond
the date on which the schedule of rates was proposed to
go into effect in accordance with Tex. Rev. Civ. Stat.
Ann. , Art. 1446c.
Section 2. A public hearing is hereby called for the
6th day of January, 1980 , in the City Council Chambers for
the purpose of determining the propriety of such proposed
changes.
Section 3. The City Secretary is directed to send a
copy of this resolution to Mr. Vernie Henderson, District
Manager for Lone Star Gas Company.
