RESOLUTION DECLARING THE RESULTS OF CITY OFFICER'S
RUN-ORF ELECTION
� WHEREAS, there came to be considered the returns of a
City Off icer�s Run-Off Election held on the 15th day of April,
1978 for the purpose of electing the hereinafter named offi-
cials, and it appearing from said returns, duly and legally
`"�" made that there were cast at said election 810 valid and legal
votes; that each of the candidates in said election received
the following votes:
COUNCILMAN PLACE 3

NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF GRAPEVINE, TEXAS:
That, said election was duly called; that notice of said elec-
�,,, tion was given in accordance with law, and that said election
was held in accordance with law, and that the following named
persons were duly elected to the office indicated:

William Shafer Councilman Place 3
Charles Gideon Councilman Place 5
That the said above party is hereby declared duly elected to
said respective office, subject to the taking of his oath and
filing bond as provided by the laws of this State and the
ordinances of this City.
