RESOLUTION �' 78-16
WHEREAS, the Airport Cities Ministerial Alliance has indicated its
'' desire to work with the City of Grapevine in a spirit of cooperation that
� would be both beneficial to the City and its citizens; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the services
offiered by the Ministerial Alliance would assist the City Government and
its citizens and help create a better understanding of the functions, responsi-
bilities and duties of City Government throughout the City.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF GRAPEVINE, TEXAS:
Section I. That each month the Airport Cities Ministerial Alliance
shall appoint a member of its organization to be Chaplain of the month for
the City of Grapevine. The individual appointed shall be a member of the
ministerial alliance and be a m+nister, pastor or associate minister or pastor
of a church located within the city limits of the City of Grapevine .
Section 2. The Chaplain of the month shall be present at all regular
and called meetings of the City Council during the month of his appointment
�,,, for the purpose of giving the invocation and shall assist the City Council and
City Administration in such other and further tasks that are appropriate and
mutually agreeable in keeping with the spirit of this resolution.
� i Section 3. That this resolution shall take effect from and after its
pa ssa ge .
