A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY OF GRAPEVINE
TO A.PPLY FOR A GRANT FROM THE TEXAS CRIMINAL
JUSTICE DIVISION.
"""""`" WHEREAS, urban areas across the Nation are experiencing
a dramatic increase in Juvenile related crime; and
�rr WHEREAS , the City of Grapevine , Texas is also experiencing
this Nationwide trend; and
WHEREAS, the Texas Criminal Justice Division tiTill provide
funding for approved Juvenile Crime Specialist Project;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OR THE
CITY OF GRAPEVINE, TEXAS:
Sectian 1. That the City of Grapevine Police Department
is authorized to request funding f rom the Texas Criminal Justice
Division for a Juvenile Crime Specialist Project.
Section 2. That the City of Grapevine understands that
the Criminal Justice Division will provide 80� funding for the
project; if approved.
