A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF GRAPEVINE, TEXAS, REQUESTING THE
STATE DEPARTMENT OF HIGHWAYS AND PUBLIC
TRANSPORTATION TO ADD "BRANIFF DRIVE" TO
D/FW AIRPORT FREIGHT AREA EXIT SIGNS ON
STATE HIGHWAY 114.
E WHEREAS, Braniff International has built a multi-
�"" million dollar International Headquarters facility within
the confines of D/FW Airport and the city limits of Grapevine, �
Texas , and;
WHEREAS , D/FW Airport Board has renamed a portion
of Westfield Drive to "Braniff Drive" , and;
WHEREAS, it is of the utmost importance that
visitors in the area are made aware of the location of
Braniff Drive and the Braniff Facility;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY
COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GRAPEVINE, TEXAS;
Section l. That the State Department of Highways
and Public Transportation is hereby requested to add "Braniff
Drive" to D/FW Airport Freight area exit signs on Highway
114.
Section 2. That the City Secretary of the City of
��, Grapevine, Texas, is hereby directed and instructed to
deliver a certified copy of said resolution to the State
�` � Department of Highways and Public Transportation.
