RESOLUTION � 78-28
� WHEREAS, on the7th day of November , 1978, the City of
_� Grapevine awarded a construction contract to Wrig t onstruction Company in
theamount of $74,949.20 for the purpose of constructing sanitary sewer lines
to D-FW Industrial Park and the La Paloma Estates Subdivision, and;
� WHEREAS, two (2) business sites have started development within the
vicinity of the location of where Wright Construction Company is doing its work
pursuant to said contract, and;
WHEREAS, the two (2) sites, one being a Gulf Service Station and the
other being a McDonalds Restaurant, are located at the intersection of Main
Street and H.W. 114 are in need of immediate sanitary sewer service in order to
open and operate, and;
WHEREAS, the Wright Construction Company is agreeable to extending
and expanding its existing contract to provide sanitary sewer service to the
aforesaid locations, and;
WHEREAS, the City Council finds that it is necessary to preserve and
protect the public health of.the citizens of the City and that an emergency exists
that requires the letting of a change order to Wright Construction Company to
� extend its contract in order to furnish sanitary sewer service to the aforedescribed
� locations.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF GRAPEVINE, TEXAS.
Section 1 . That all of the above statements are hereby incorporated into
the body of this resolution as if copied in full .
Section 2. That the written consent and agreement of Wright Construction
Company to extend its existing contract to provide sanitary sewer services to serve
the Gulf Service Station and McDonalds Restaurant, both located at the corner of
Main Street and SH 114, in the amount of $25,793.00, all in accordance with
engineering places and specificatio�s approved by both parties is hereby appro��ed
and accepted and awarded as a change order to said co�tract.

Section 3. That this resolution shall take effect from and after its passage
on this the 7th �y of November , 1978.
