A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF GRAPEVINE, TEXAS, REQUESTING THE
STATE DEPARTMENT OF HIGHWAYS AND PUBLIC
TRANSPORTATION TO ADD "BRANIFF BOULEVARD"
TO D/FW AIRPORT FREIGHT AREA EXIT SIGNS
ON STATE HIGHWAY 114, AND REPEALING RESOLU-
TION N0 . 78-27 .

WHEREAS , Braniff International has built a multi-
million dollar International Headquarters facility within
- the confines of D/FW Airport and the city limits of
Grapevine, Texas , and;
WHEREAS , D/FW Airport Board has renamed a portion of
Westfield Drive to "Braniff Boulevard" , and;
WHEREAS , it is of the utmost importance that visitors
in the area are made aware of the location of Braniff Boule-
vard and the Braniff Facility;
NOW, THEREFORE , BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF GRAPEVINE , TEXAS ;
Section l . That the State Department of Highways
and Public Transportation is hereby requested to add "Braniff
Boulevard" to D/FW Airport Freight area exit signs on Highway
114 .
Section 2 . That the City Secretary of the City of
Grapevine, Texas , is hereby directed and instructed to

deliver a certified copy of said resolution to the State
Department of Highways and Public Transportation.
