A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF GRAPEVINE , AUTHORIZING THE CITY OF GRAPEVINE
TO APPLY FOR A GRANT FRO1`� THE TEXAS CRIMINAL
JUSTICE DIVISION PROVIDING 75% FUNDING FOR THE
PURCHASE OF R.ADIO COMMUNICATIONS EQUIPMENT
� WHEREAS , urban areas across the nation are experiencing
increases in Police and equipment shortage to include Radio com-
munication, and

WHEREAS , the City of Grapevine, Texas , is also experi-
encing this nation wide trend, and
WHEREAS , the Texas Criminal Justice Division will pro-
vide funding for approved Radio Communication Equipment .
NOW, THEREFORE , BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF GRAPEVINE , TEXAS :
Section l . That the City of Grapevine Police Department
is authorized to request funding from the Texas Criminal Justice
Division for additional Radio equipment .
Section 2 . That the City of Grapevine understands that
the Criminal Justice Division will provide 75Q/o funding for the
project, if approved.
