WHEREAS , Lone Star Gas Company has filed a request
with the City of Grapevine, requesting an increase in its
rates which was filed on April 25 , 1979 , and is proposed to
go into effect on the 31st day of May, 1979 ; and,
WHEREAS , the City Council desires to suspend the
operation of the schedule that the rates would go into effect
in order to study the request in accordance with Tex. Rev. Civ.
Stat. Ann. , Art . 1446c.
� NOW, THEREFORE , BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF GRAPEVINE :
Section l. The City Council does hereby suspend the
operation of the schedule for a period of 120 days beyond the
date on which the schedule of rates was proposed to go into
effect in accordance with Tex. Rev. Civ. Stat. Ann. , Art. 1446c.
Section 2 . A public hearing is hereby called for
the 19th day of June , 1979 , in the City Council Chambers for
the purpose of determining the propriety of such proposed
changes .
Section 3 . The City Secretary is directed to send a
copy of this resolution to Mr. Vernie Henderson, District Mana-
ger for Lone Star Gas Company.
