WHEREAS, the City Secretary was instructed to prepare
a suitable resolution expressing commendation and apprecia-
tion for the untiring and valuable service rendered to the
City of Grapevine, Texas, by

BILLY A. POWERS
AS A MEMBER OF THE GRAPEVINE HOUSING AUTHORITY, and
that the City Secretary be further authorized and instructed
to spread a copy of such resolution upon the City Records
and to transmit a copy thereof to Mr. Powers, and
WHEREAS, Mr. Powers served for eight years, in a
dignif ied, faithful, impartial, and business like manner,
giving generously of his time and efforts, unselfishly in
all deliberations, now,

THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City of Grapevine
�
extend Mr. Powers its humble expression of esteem for him
in serving the City of Grapevine faithfully and well, and
its best wishes for good health, success, and prosperity
for many years to come.
PA5SED AND APPROVED, by the City Council of the City
of Grapevine, Texas, on this the 3rd day of February,
1976.
