A RESOLUTION DECLARING THE INTENT OF THE CITY
OF GRAPEVINE TO JOIN WITH THE GRAPEVINE INDE-
PENDENT SCHOOL DISTRICT FOR THE PURPOSE OF
WIDENING CANNON STREET BETWEEN AUSTIN & RUTH.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Grapevine,
�, Texas is desirous of making the City of Grapevine a safer
place in which to live and travel, and,
WHEREAS, there is an ever increasing need for improve-
ments on certain streets w ithin the corporate limits, and,
WHEREAS, much study and thought has been given to
these problems by the City Council.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF GRAPEVINE, TEXAS THAT:
The City of Grapevine and the Grapevine Independent
School District join together and implement a plan to
widen Cannon Street between Austin and Ruth which will

result in a coordinated effort to insure the safety of the
citizens of Grapevine.
