RESOLUTION DECLARING THE RESULTS OF CITY OFFICER'S ELECTION
WHEREAS , there came to be considered the returns of an election
held on the 3rd day April, 1976 for the purpose of electing the
hereinafter named offic 'ials , and it appearing from said returns,
"�`� duly and legally made that there were cast at said election 818
valid and legal votes ; that each of the candidates in said elec-
�� tion received the following votes :

��"`& NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF GRAPEVINE, TEXAS :
That, said election was duly called; that notice of said election
was given in accordance with law, and that said election was held
in accordance with law, and that the following named person was
duly elected to the office indicated:
David Florence Councilman Place 4
That the said above party is hereby declared duly elected to
said respective office, subject to the taking of his oath and
filing bond as provided by the laws of this State and the .
ordinances of this City, and that in Council Places 3 and 5
no candidates received a majority of the total votes cast.
A runoff election between the two candidates receiving the most
votes shall be held between thirty and forty-five days from date
of the regular election. Date of said election shall be 5/15/76.
