WHEREAS, there came to be considered the names of
certain public parks within the City of Grapevine, Texas ;
and
WHEREAS, it was determined that there is a need to
� name said public parks ;
�r BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
GRAPEVINE, TEXAS:
SECTION l. That the first of the certain unamed public
parks is located within the City of Grapevine along the east
side of Kimball Road just north of its intersection with
Dove Road. The seven acres is located within the F. Wood
Survey, Abstract 1688, Tarrant County, Texas .
SECTION 2 . That in honor of G. U. Pickering, the
certain unamed public park within the City of Grapevine,
Texas be hereinafter named the G. U. Pickering Park.
SECTION 3 . That the second of the certain unamed
public parks is a one acre tract of land in the A. F.
Leonard Survey as recorded in Volume 1145, Page 168,
Tarrant County Deed Records.
SECTION 4. That in honor of Elwood Cluck, the certain
unamed public park within the City of Grapevine, Texas be
�"� hereinafter named the Elwood Cluck Memorial Park.

PASSED AND APPROVED by the City Council of the City of
Grapevine, Texas on this the 19th day of October ,
1976.
