WHEREAS, the request for a rate increase filed by Texas Power and Light
Company was recently received, pursuant to Chapter 8 of the City Code the City
Attorney is duly informing the company that the data submitted did not satisfy the
City's ordinance as to form and content; and
WHEREAS, the data submitted is voluminous and the City Council and
City Staff need additional time to study and analyze same;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF GRAPEVINE, TEXAS:
Section 1 . That the effective date for the rates to become applicable in
the request for a rate increase applied for by Texas Power and Light Company is
hereby suspended. The suspension of the rates are to enable the City to obtain
the necessary data and to analyze same.
Section 2. That a Public Hearing is hereby called to consider the request
for a rate increase on the 22nd day of February , 1977.
Section 3. That the City Secretary is hereby instructed to notify the
applicant of the decision contained in this resolution.
