i�HEREAS, the City of Grapevine, Texas has benfited
greatly f rom the Revenue Sharing Program; and
WHEREAS, the Department of the Treasury�s Off ice of
Revenue Sharing has published the Audit Guide and
�, Standards for Revenue Sharing Recipients ; and
"'�'� WHERERS, under this guide the City of Grapevine,
Texas is required to publish separate financial state-
ments and document census reports which have been audited
by an independent public accountant; and
WHEREAS, the governing body of the City of Grapevine,
Texas finds that it is in the best interest of the city
to abide by the required standards ,
NOW, THEREFOkE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF GRAPEVINE, TEXAS:
Section 1. That the City Manager is hereby authorized
and directed to sign the engagement letter submitted by
the firm of Pittman & Harris for the purpose of conduct-
ing the audit heretofore described.
Section 2. That the fee charged by Pittman & Harris to
,� , conduct said audit shall not exceed $500.00 plus out-of-
pocket expenses .
