A RESOLUTION PROVIDING FOR THE AMENDMENT OF SECTION THREE,
SUBSECTION E OF THE RESOLUTION NO. 77-6 OF THE CITY OF
GRAPEVINE, TEXAS, BY ADDING THERETO PROVISIONS PROVIDING
FOR THE POSITION OF VICE-CHAIRM�N OF THE CITIZENS ADVISORY
COMMITTEE�DESCRIBING THE APPOINTMENT AND DUTIES RELATING
THERETO.
`'�""' WHEREAS, the City Council has passed and approved a resolution
creating the Citizens Advisory Committee; and
WHEREAS, the officers of the Citizens Advisory Committee consists
of a Chairman and a Secretary elected by the Committee from its
membership; and
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion and hereby finds that
it is in the best interest of the City of Grapevine and its Citizens
that the position of Vice-Chairman be established for the Citizens
Advisory Committee;
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF GRAPEVINE, TEXAS:
SECTION 1: That Section 3, Subsection E of Resolution No. 77-6
of the City of Grapevine, Texas be and is hereby amended to read as
follows:
"SECTION 3
,�_ � E. The Committee shall elect from its membership
a Chairman, who will preside at the meetings,
a Vice-Chairman, who will preside at meetings
�� in the absence of the Chairman, and a Secretary,
who will record the minutes."
SECTION 2: That this resolution shall be effective upon its passage.
