Resolution No. 77-13
�VHERE'F.S , the Dallas/Fort Worth Regional E'�irport is located
partially within the city limits of the City of Grapevine , Texas,
� and �light operations at said airport �irectly affect the
cit�.zens of the City of Grapevine ; and,
�aIi�REAS , the full impact on the citizens of the City of
�rapevine from the operation of Concorde supersonic transport
aircraft at said airport is not known at this time; and,
6+7'rIEREA5 , any recorunendations from the cities of Dallas ,
Texas anc. Fort Worth, Texas supporting such flights are likely
to affect whether such flights are permitted by the federal
government;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF GRAPEVINE, TEXAS :
That the City Councils of Dallas , Texas and Fort
ti�lorth, Texas are hereby requested not to take any action support-
ing Concorde supersonic transport aircraft operations at Dallas/
Fort Worth Regional Air�ort until the ef�ects of Concor�e noise
levels at ano: arounr� Dallas/Fort 'v�orth Regional Airport are fully
known.
