A RESOLUTION REQUESTING THE TARRANT
COUNTY COMMISSIONERS COURT TO ENTER
INTO A CONTRACT FOR THE CONSTRUCTION
� OF A SENIOR CITIZENS CENTER.

WHEREAS, the City of Grapevine participated in
the 1976 Community Development Funding for the develop-
ment of a Senior Citizens Building; and
WHEREAS, Walman Construction Company submitted
a low bid of $95, 238.00; and
WHEREAS, the bid submitted was in excess of funds
available; and
WHEREAS, a change order has been prepared to re-
duce the total construction cost to $73,663.00; and
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF GRAPEVINE, TEXAS THAT:
The �ity of Grapevine recommends approval of the
contract and change order as submitted.
