A RE�OLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY OF GRAPEVINE
TO APPLY FOR A GRANT FROM THE TEXAS CRIMINAL
JUSTICE DIVISION.

�"' WHEREAS, urban areas across the Nation are ex-
periencing a dramatic increase in Juvenile related
crime; and
WHEREAS, the City of Grapevine, Texas is also
experiencing this Nationwide trend; and
WHEREAS, the Texas Criminal Justice Division will
provide funding for approved Juvenile Crime Specialist
Project;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF GRAPEVINE, TEXAS:
SECTION l: That the City of Grapevine Police
Department is authorized to request funding from the
Texas Criminal Justice Division for a Juvenile Crime
Specialist Project.
� � SECTION 2 : That the City of Grapevine understands
that the Criminal Justice Division will provide 100%
�-� funding for the project; if approved.
PASSED AND APPROVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF GRAPEVINE, TEXAS, on this the 5th day of July ,
1977.
