AN ORDINANCE FINDING THAT THE CITY HAS NO
INTEREST IN A LOT, TRACT, OR PARCEL OF LAND
DESCRIBED IN THE BODY OF THIS ORDINANCE AND
AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE A QUIT CLAIM
DEED AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY.

f� � NOW THEREFORE , BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
� CITY OF GRAPEVINE, TEXAS ;
Section 1. That the property hereinafter described is
located in the Original Town Plat of the City of Grapevine ,
Texas filed for record in the Tarrant County Map and Plat
Records as shown in Volume 309 , Page 72 . Due to the fact
that the City filed the plat , a question has arisen as to
whether the City has any right , title, or interest to the
property described as Lot 4, Block 15 , Original Town of
Grapevine, Texas .
Section 2 . The City Council does hereby find and declare
that the City has no interest or owns no right, title, or
interest in subject property, and to assist in clearing
legal title to the property, the Mayor is authorized and
directed to execute a quit claim deed from the City
relinquishing any rights it may have had in said property
to the granteed. Dorris Hollingsworth and Borden B.
Hollingsworth.
. Section 3 . The fact that existing records do not properly
�, reflect the history involved in the transactions of the
I heretofore mentioned property creates an urgency and an
� emergency, and the preservation of the public health, safety
and welfare requires that this ordinance shall take effect
immediately from and after its passage.
PASSED AND APPROVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
GRAPEVINE , TEXAS , on this the 18 day of December , 1979 .
