AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF GRAPEVINE
ESTABLISHING A TRUCK ROUTE ON CERTAIN
SPECIFIED STREETS AND HIGHWAYS PRO-
HIBITING TRUCK TRAFFIC ON ALL OTHER
STREETS AND HIGHWAYS AND PROVIDING
EXCEPTIONS ; PROVIDING FOR SIGNS ; PRO-
("�' VIDING A SEVERABILITY CLAUSE ; PROVIDING
� A PENALTY AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY

� BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
GRAPEVINE , TEXAS :
Section l. It shall be unlawful to operate a truck, as
that term is defined in the Uniform Act Regulating Traffic on
Highways , Tex. Rev. Civ. Stat. Ann. , Article 7601D, on any
street in the City except upon the following described streets
and highways located in the City of Grapevine , Texas :
A. On Spur 382 between its intersection
with S .H. 114 on the west to its
intersection with Business 121 on
the east.
B . S .H. 114 between its intersection with
Spur 382 on the west to its intersection
with S .H. 121 (Spine Road of D-FW) on
the east.
C. Business 121 from its intersection with
S .H. 114 on the east to the Grapevine
��, City Limit on the west and from� Spur 382
; on the west to S .H. 121 on the east.

with S .H. 114 on the north to the Grapevine
City Limit on the south.
E . S .H. 121 (Spine Road D-FW) from its inter-
section on the north with Business 121 to
its intersection on the south with S .H. 114.
F. All of the above described truck routes
are described and shown on Exhibit "A"
as truck routes . The route is also marked
with a heavy line.
Except for making a delivery to property located contiguous to
said streets and highways .
Section 2 . The City Manager is instructed to place or
have placed appropriate signs at reasonable intervals on said
streets and highways that notify operators of vehicles that
Truck Traffic is Prohibited.
„�,,,� Section 3 . Savin s and Severabilit Clause. If any
section, paragraph, su ivision, c ause , phrase or provision of
! . this Ordinance shall be judged invalid or unconstitutional by a
j , court of competent jurisdiction, the same shall not affect the
validity of this Ordinance as a whole or any portion thereof
other than that portion so decided to be invalid or unconstitutional.
Section 4. _�Penal�t . Any person violating any provisions to
this Ordinance shall be emed guilty of a misdemeanor and upon
conviction in the Municipal Court shall be fined in an amount not
to exceed the sum of $200 . 00 for each offense.
Section 5 . Emer enc . The fact that no present
ordinances of the City o Grapevine prohibiting truck traffic
on certain specified streets exists , creates an urgency and
an emergency and in the preservation of the public health,
safety and welfare requires that this Ordinance shall take
�� effect immediately from and after its passage and the publication
� of the caption as the law and charter in such cases provides .
