B. Review Ordinance 73-13, an ordinance requiring the
owner or occupant of every building located on any
lot or parcel of land within the City o� Grapevine,
the property of wl-iich extends ta within one-hundred
�eet of any city water and/or sewer line adequate to
serve the property to cause said building to be
connnected.
C. Review bid tabulations for two-way radios for the
police department.

Councilman Parker moved to table the review of Ordinance No.
73-13, an ordinance requiring the owner or occupant of every �
building located on any lot or parcel of' land within the City ;
of Grapevine, the property of which extends to within one- '
hundred f eet o� any city water and/or sewer line adequate to
serve the property to cause said building to be connected,
which was passed April 17, 1973. Councilwoman Conine seconded
the motion. The motion prevailed by the following vote: €
Ayes : Tate , Eidson, Parker , Conine, Dilg
Noes : None '
Absent: Dalton, Pittard �

The City Manager presented the tabulation o� bids for two-way
radios for the police department as follows :

Motorola - $ 3,436. 00
FiCA - $ 3, 888. 00
General Electric - $ 4, 158. 00
The City Manager stated the City Engineer recommended the bid
o� RCA , due to their bid was the only one to meet bid specifi-
cations.
Councilman Parker moved to award the contract for two-way radios
to RCA in the amount of [$3,888. 00] . Councilwoman Conine
seconded the motion. The motion prevailed by the �ollowing
vo te: i
Ayes : Tate, Eidson, Parker, Conine , Dilg ,
Noes : None '
Absent: Dalton , Pittard

Councilman Parker moved to adjourn to closed session �or the
discussion o�' the employment o� a Fire Chief. Councilman Eidson
seconded the motion. The motion prevailed by the following vote:
Ayes : Tate, Eidson, Parker, Conine, Dilg
Noes : None
Absent: Dalton, Pittard
The City Council reconvened in closed session with the following
members present: Tate , Eidson, Parker , Conine, Dilg.
The City Manager brie�ed the Council on applications received
�or the position of Fire Chie�.
Mayor Tate reactiviated a committee composed of Councilmer�: �
Dalton, Eidson, and Oilg, to study the applications. �
There being no further business, Mayor Tate adjourned the
meeting.
PASSED AND APPROVED, this the 20th day o� November , 1973.
