CALL TO ORDER � � Chairman Oliver called the meeting to order at 9:02 a.m. �:,, PUBLIC HEARING CONDITIONAL USE REQUEST CU01-24 ZUROMA'S First for the Committee to consider was Conditional Use Request CU01-24 submitted by Hite Baldwin for property located at 2140 Hall-Johnson Road and platted as Lot 2, Block 1, Grapevine Mills Addition Phase II. The applicant was requesting a Conditional Use permit to amend the previously approved site plan of CU00-74 (Ord. 01-06) for the possession, storage, retail sale and on-premise consumption of alcoholic beverages (beer, wine, and mixed drinks) in conjunction with a restaurant, specifically, to modify the floor plan. The following are the proposed revisions: • The men's and women's restrooms have been expanded each with an additional sink and stall. • Because of the expansion of the restrooms, the adjacent bar area has been shortened and re-arranged. The hand sink has been moved from its original location, and an ice bin °"��� has been removed. ""� • The water heater was moved from the kitchen area to the waiter station. � 051601 1 SITE PLAN REVIEW COMMITTEE MAY 16, 2001 �� Ayes: Oliver, Spencer, and Hardy �� Nays: None CONDITIONAL USE REQUEST CU01-29 COLTER'S BBQ Next for the Committee to consider was Conditional Use Request CU01-29 submitted by Terrance Wright for property located at 1720 State Highway 26 and platted as Lot 2, Block 1, Grapevine Mills Addition Phase II. The applicant was requesting a conditional use permit to amend the previously approved site plan of CU99-64 (Ord. 99-175) for a Planned Commercial Development and for the possession, storage, retail sale and on-premise consumption of�alcoholic beverages (beer, wine, and mixed drinks) in conjunction with a restaurant with drive-thru window, specifically, to allow for outside dining with an additional 12 seats located on the existing patio. Mrs. Spencer moved, with a second by Mr. Hardy, to deny Conditional Use Request CU01- � 29, and the motion prevaifed by the following vote: Ayes: Oliver, Spencer, and Hardy � Nays: None ��; END OF PUBLIC HEARING CONSIDERATION OF MINIJTES Next for the Commission to consider were the minutes of the April 18, 2001 Site Plan Review Committee meeting. A correction was noted on page one to change from "Chairman Oliver called the meeting to order..." to "Vice-Chairman Spencer called the meeting to order." Mrs. Spencer moved, with a second by Mr. Hardy, to approve Conditional Use Request CU01-24, and the motion prevailed by the following vote: Ayes: Oliver, Spencer, and Hardy � Nays None CONDITIONAL USE REQUEST CU01-26 BAYLOR MEDICAL CENTER Next for the Committee to consider was Conditional Use Request CU01-26 submitted by � Charles B. Turner for property located at 1650 West College Street and platted as Lot 1 and 2, Block A, Baylor Medical Center at Grapevine Addition. The applicant was requesting a conditional use permit to amend the previously approved site plan of CU00-55 (Ord. 00- 121), specifically to modify building height and add an emergency generator to the lower �"�' levei of the parking garage. � i�irs. The applicant was requesting a con ' onal use permit to amend the previously approved site plan of CU00-05 . to allow the possession, storage, retail sale and on- and off-premise consumption af alcoholic beverages (wine only) in conjunction with a wine tasting facility specifically, to allow modifications to the site plan. Mrs. Spencer moved to table consideration of the case until after the Historic Preservation Committee's review. Mr. Hardy stated that the applicant did wish to move forward with construction work on the barn. Mrs. Spencer amended her motion, with a second by Mr. Hardy, to approve the barn revisions and table the Gazebo plans until after the Historic Preservation Committee's review.
